Hope for the Child (HFTC) , established in 2006, works to alleviate poverty by making quality education accessible to at-risk, orphaned, and disadvantaged children. We believe that education is a basic human right, commensurate with the pledge in the Universal Declaration of Human rights and the UN Millennium Declaration. HFTC understands that education provides access to economic and political opportunity, promotes self-esteem, eliminate poverty, and promote peace.
