Nita Stewart Haley Memorial Library
The Haley Library and History Center opened in Midland, Texas in July of 1976. The 501(c)(3) public charity is open 9-5 M-F with no admission charged. The Library has on display western art, bronzes, saddles, spurs, firearms and artifacts that relate the historical expansion of the Great Southwestern Frontier. The archives and library offer researchers of all levels primary and secondary source material. The collections include over 20,000 volumes of rare and out of print Texana and Southwestern Americana. The archives contain interviews, photographs, and manuscripts that tell the story of westward expansion.
