This week, we’ve been notified by the federal government that the funding to support this program has been terminated, effective immediately. The NMMF’s Dolphin Doctor program, in honor of the original dolphin doctor and our beloved founder, Dr. Sam Ridgway, is the cornerstone of our community engagement program. This program inspires people across the country, and around the globe, to pursue careers in STEM and to preserve our marine ecosystems and the marine mammals that call them home.
