🎉 Big buzz, big win! Our 2024 Celebrating Cicadas marketing campaign earned a Bronze Anvil Award—the top media relations honor from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). 🏆 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗥, putting us on the map for creativity, storytelling and teamwork. 🪰 The campaign had it all—from a Dunn Museum special exhibition and education programs, to custom illustrations by a Lake County artist, a five-page Horizons feature article and even a cicada-themed beer. 💬 “This was more than a communications campaign—it was a full agency effort,” said Rebekah Snyder, director of community engagement and partnerships. The turtles in the video are part of our long-term research on state-endangered Blanding's turtles (𝘌𝘮𝘺𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘪) Recovery Program.
