The American Blind Skiing Foundation-ABSF

ABSF is committed to serving blind and visually impaired children and adults who seek to learn and ski with trained guides. For donations visit our site! Midwestern Ski & Snowboard Club for Blind Skiers and Guides Stay social! Try our ABSF Social group https://www.facebook.com/groups/american.blind.skiers We provide recreational downhill skiing activities for visually impaired children and adults, including those that are totally blind.  These skiers enjoy an outdoor sport under the aid of sighted volunteers who guide them. We also provide social opportunities throughout the year.

American Blind Skiing Foundation ABSF is a nonprofit organization that provides blind and visually impaired individuals with opportunities to ski and snowboard alongside qualified sighted guides. Our program welcomes individuals of all ages and levels of experience allowing them to ski and snowboard in various locations throughout the ski season. Our trained guides ski in front of or behind blindVI skiers assisting their skiers in traversing slopes of differing degrees of difficulty.
