Family Medicine Foundation of West Virginia | Promoting Family Medicine in West Virginia PromotingFamily Medicine in West Virginia Improving the quality of health care for West Virginia through the promotion of the practice of family medicine. The Family Medicine Foundation of West Virginia is the philanthropic arm of the West Virginia Academy of Family Physicians and as a 501c3 charitable organization funds a scholarship program for needy medical students in our state as well as other charitable projects. Our annual conference provides regional health care professionals with an update on the diagnosis and treatment of commonly encountered medical problems. Conference attendees will review current clinical concepts in core areas of Family Medicine Sports Medicine.
