WICHITA PARKS FOUNDATION
The WPF is a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission of supporting Wichita's parks and open spaces. We seek resources and foster partnerships in the community to improve Wichita's park and recreation system. The Wichita Parks Foundation is a volunteer-led, 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 2011 to serve the needs of the community in Wichita, Kansas. Our mission is to enhance the quality and maintain the heritage of Wichita's park system by assembling necessary resources through developing partnerships and fostering relationships.With your support, the Wichita Parks Foundation: Helps maintain the park and recreation system Advocates for the development of all city park properties Provides support to special project volunteer groups Promotes a sense of ownership through volunteerism Directs needed resources into the park and recreation system

Enhancing Our Parks, Enriching Our Community - Wichita Parks Foundation Enhancing Our Parks Enriching Our Community From supporting park enhancement projects to offering scholarships to local children and throwing the citys largest Fourth of July party the Wichita Parks Foundation provides the support Wichitas parks need to be the best that they canwhile improving the lives of all those who enjoy them. Plates for Parks Help support the work of the Wichita Parks Foundation while proudly displaying some civic pride with your very own Wichita flag tag. Created as a part of the Plates for Parks program these official State of Kansas license plates are not only a way to show your love for Wichita each tag contributes 50 each year to help fund Wichita Park Foundation initiatives. Its a great way to look good on the road while doing good in the community.

If your last name starts with a J, K or L it's time to get your license plate renewed. While you're at it, upgrade to a Wichita flag tag and support your local parks. For every tag that's registered, a $50 annual royalty fee goes directly to the Wichita Parks Foundation to help fund future park enhancements and activities.
