The mission of the Boys & Girls of Harrisburg (BGC) is to serve as a neighborhood-based organization committed to serving youth of all backgrounds in developing self-esteem, character, and to help them become responsible citizens by providing physical, recreational, social, educational, and vocational programs. The BGC offers daily access to a broad range of programs in the five (5) Core Program Areas of: Education and Career Development; Character and Leadership; Health and Life Skills; The Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
