New Hope's mission is to help bereaved children and families in Long Beach and surrounding cities find hope and healing through connection and support. New Hope provides support for bereaved children, adults and families through peer support groups, camps, & education. We believe that grief is an isolating experience, and that people find support in community. Our mission is to help bereaved children and families find hope and healing through connection and support. New Hope offers community based programs led by people who genuinely care and have experienced a death themselves. Together, through peer support groups we offer an opportunity to share experiences and feelings in a safe environment free of judgement. Our vision is to see bereaved children and families with strong support systems living healthy and flourishing lives after loss.
