Our partner, Glenmark Foundation, recently visited our #Kilkari intervention areas to witness the programme’s impact in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh. During the visit, Tincy George and Abhishek Mali from Glenmark Foundation connected with pregnant women and new mothers to understand how Kilkari’s timely voice messages are transforming maternal and child health practices in the region. They also met with frontline health workers—Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs), Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) —and local health officials, gaining insights into the collaborative efforts driving systemic change for healthier communities. Glenmark Foundation is supporting the implementation of Kilkari across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa. Together, we are building a healthier future for mothers and children. Kilkari is the largest maternal messaging programme in the world, implemented by ARMMAN in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. #MaternalHealth #ChildHealth #ARMMAN #GlenmarkFoundation #MobileHealth #PublicHealth #AIinHealth #DigitalHealth #FrontlineHealthWorkers #HealthTech #HealthImpact #HealthMessaging #HealthAwareness (fb)

TIME Magazine recently named our Founder, Dr. Aparna Hegde, and Dr. Aparna Taneja from Google DeepMind in its 2025 TIME100 Health list, recognizing our collaborative efforts to enhance maternal and child health outcomes through the use of #artificialintelligence (AI). ARMMAN has a long-term partnership with Google DeepMind, through which we developed an AI-powered prediction model aimed at identifying low listenership and predicting potential dropouts from our mobile-based voice call services. We first piloted this model in our mMitra programme, where it led to a 30% increase in user engagement. Encouraged by these promising results, we are integrating this restless multi-armed bandit (RMAB) model into Kilkari, a voice call service, which we implement in partnership with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The #AI model plays a critical role enabling us to design targeted interventions and ensure continuum of care for women and children, helping us provide timely support and care. Leveraging technology to create scalable solutions to empower mothers and enable the nurturing of healthy children ARMMAN Advancing Reduction In Mortality And Morbidity Of Mothers Children And Neonates is an Indian nonprofit creating costeffective techbased solutions to reduce maternal and child mortality and morbidity. We work directly with pregnant women and mothers to improve their healthseeking behaviour while building capacities of health workers to ensure efficient antenatal and childhood care and timely diagnosis management and referral of highrisk pregnancies. We adopt a tech plus touch approach leveraging the deep mobile penetration in the country as well as existing health worker networks of the government and partner NGOs to improve health outcomes. ARMMAN currently implements the largest mobilebased maternal messaging programme Kilkari and frontline health worker training programme Mobile Academy in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare MoHFW of India.
