PL-AIDS – Partners In Learning About AIDS press PLAIDS Awarded Rhode Island Foundation Grant To Fund HIV Hotline FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 23 2012 PLAIDS Project Inc. has received a grant from the Rhode Island Foundations LGBTQfocused Equity Action Fund to partially fund the costs of an HIV postexposure prophylaxis PEP hotline for LGBTQ individuals atrisk for acquiring HIV. The grant will assist in paying for PEP drugs for uninsured patients as well . events PLAIDS Sponsors World AIDS Day Celebration On December 1 2010 from 800 PM to 1000 PM The PLAIDS Project is cosponsoring a series of events including a major performance by Isis Storm on the campus of Brown University for World AIDS Day to enhance awareness surrounding HIVAIDS.
