Our Vision A community where the lives of people are improved and they are able to provide adequate and nutritious food for their families through their own resources. We Are in the Neighborhoods. Loaves and Fishes Southwest Detroit LFSD is a nonprofit collaborative providing small pantries with the funding to assist residents inSWDetroitand nearby areasbreak the cycle of hunger in their lives. The funding that we provide in theform of grantshas been usedto purchase foodfrom Gleaners as well as freezers and other durable equipment that will enable pantries to access and store food from a variety of sources.
