The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey is an 80-piece orchestra formed in 1991 to provide quality classical music to people throughout southern New Jersey and the Delaware Valley. To provide a symphony orchestra in which talented volunteer musicians will have the opportunity to play quality music to the best of their ability under the leadership of a professional (paid) conductor/music director. The intent of the orchestra is to share the musical experience with the playing members and the community at large, benefiting performers and audience.
