APS monitors how students in grades 4–12 are doing socially and emotionally. This spring’s SEL screener results show that secondary students reported stronger social-emotional skills compared to last year, while elementary students maintained steady results, continuing to score above national averages. Last week, APS held the second annual APS Future Teacher Signing Day at the Arlington Career Center to celebrate the achievements of students who will join APS as teachers upon graduation from college. Twelve students from our Teachers for Tomorrow and Early Childhood Programs will join APS after college. The contract guarantees that upon graduation, students will have teaching positions at APS. #APSisAwesome #EveryAPSstudent (fb)
