Our mission is to build a strong sense of community for the residents of Northwest Indiana by being the leading force in connecting people, ideas and information through multiple, ongoing media and outreach activities.Lakeshore PBS reaches the entire Chicago Designated Market which includes seven counties in NW Indiana and seven counties in the Chicagoland area. This constitutes 3.4 million households.Lakeshore Public Radio reaches a five county area across the NW Indiana region with some carriage over the Indiana-Illinois stateline, as well as providing streaming audio via the web.
