With less than 6% of refugees globally accessing tertiary education, the odds are steep—but not insurmountable with the right partners by our side. That's why we're proud to celebrate Together Women Rise, whose generous support of our Girls Empowerment Program has been nothing short of transformational. 💜 Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to global gender equality. It has hundreds of local chapters across the U.S. where members come together to learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, give grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income communities in the Global South, and build community to forge meaningful connections with each other and with women around the world. 🌍 Their investment goes beyond tuition—they ensure our learners have access to mental health services, transport, and daily meals, directly supporting our 100% NITA exam pass rate for tailoring students. 🎓✂️ It’s this kind of holistic, intentional support that fuels retention, success, and above all—hope. Last week, we celebrated World Day for Cultural Diversity on our campus. At RefuSHE, we have refugee girls from countries all over East Africa who participate in our programs. This means that our campus is full of many cultures, languages, and tribal representation.
