Greater Washington Coalition for Jewish Life Inc
The Coalition is a unique and diverse group of full time and weekend residents of the Litchfield County area who gather at member’s homes and local venues for stimulating spiritual, creative, intellectual, and social events. THE MISSION OF THIS INIQUE AND FLEXIBLE CONGREGATION IS TO ESTABLISH IN LITCHFIELD COUNTY A SPIRITUAL HOME AND AN EXTENDED SPIRITUAL HOME WITH A STRONG SENSE OF WARMTH AND LEARNING. EACH MEMBER IS EMBRACED, SUPPORTED AND APPRECIATED AS A VALUED PART OF OUR COMMUNITY.WE SEEK TO ENRICH THAT COMMUNITY BY OFFERING A VARIETY OF STIMULATING AND THOUGHTFUL RELIGIOUS, SPIRITUAL, CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL EXPERIENCES THROUGH WHICH JUDAISM CAN BE EXPLORED, LEARNED AND PRACTICED COMMUNALLY.

Our organization meets monthly for Friday night worship as well as for Jewish Holidays life cycle events Jewish study and programs that present Judaism in a relevant interactive way described herein. We respect and observe the three principles of Judasim worship study and acts of loving kindness. We welcome all who seek knowledge about or a relationship with the Jewish faith and people regardless of gender race marital status sexual orientation ethnic background or political affiliation.
