Our mission is to provide support to children with cancer and their families in Eastern NC THE MISSION AND PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES OF EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO VOLUNTEERS, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY AWARENESS.

Yet this year in the United States 15780 parents with children between the ages of birth and 19 years old will hear those words. 1 in 285 children will be diagnosed with a form of cancer before their 20th birthday. While survival rates for many types of childhood cancer have improved for too many children cancer will shorten their lives too soon.
