Ofrenda A'bunna: Indigenous-led conservation in Colombia Indigenousled conservation in Colombia OUR MISSION We are an Indigenousled nonprofit recovering Arhuaco ancestral land in Colombias Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta converting CO2 into a global treasure of biodiversity. Watch Our Five Minute Introductory Video OUR GOALS Our goal is to purchase and protect 5000 more acres of Arhuaco ancestral territory in five years. Forest cover on Arhuaco ancestral land expanded by 63 in twelve years according to satellite images comparing land management in 2010 to 2022. Geologist Tobias Leyva Pinto from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia studied 2800 acres of Arhuaco land purchased around the year 2010 in the community of Seykun.
