NHLAP helps NH lawyers, judges, and law students to confidentially and effectively address alcohol abuse, substance use disorders and mental health issues. The New Hampshire Lawyers Assistance Program is a confidential independent resource for lawyers with substance abuse or mental health issues. THE NEW HAMPSHIRE LAWYERS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM'S MISSION IS TO OFFER CONFIDENTIAL IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL ASSISTANCE, REFERRALS, AND EDUCATION, TO FACILITATE ACCESS TO TOOLS, RESOURCES, AND SERVICES FOR THE NH LEGAL COMMUNITY'S WELL-BEING. THIS COMMITMENT TO WELL-BEING INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, A FOCUS ON ISSUES REGARDING MENTAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS, AND WORK-LIFE BALANCE. THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO ENSURING THE COMPETENT DELIVERY OF LEGAL SERVICES TO NH CITIZENS, THE ELEVATION OF PUBLIC CONFIDENCE IN THE NH LEGAL PROFESSION AND THE PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL SATISFACTION OF NH PRACTITIONERS.
