The Auditory Oral School of New York
Success begins here! The Auditory Oral School of New York, is an award-winning organization, the largest school of its kind in the nation. The mission of the school is to help preschoolers with hearing loss and severe language delays to acquire spoken communications skills that allow them to listen and speak, becoming independent communicators and participants in the world at large. AOSNY enables children with hearing loss to be completely integrated in society and paves the way to success academically, socially and emotionally. The school has achieved a 97% success rate in mainstreaming its students into regular classrooms. AOSNY changes the world forever for deaf students by offering them the gift of sound, so that they can speak, sing, and hear - and have a normal childhood and a future filled with hope.
