Empowering African Children through Education Liberia is the oldest republic in Africa and yet one of the poorest nations. It has one of Africas highest rates of illiteracy public education is not free. Many families are too poor to pay school fees and so put their children to work at menial labor. ADAFs mission is to change that to provide a worldclass education free of charge at our school in Monrovia and so give Liberias children and the country a brighter future through education.
