We’re committed to breaking down barriers that prevent our community from learning how to sail and enjoying Lake Pontchartrain. Come sail with us! Community Sailing New Orleans impacts lives by providing accessible educational, recreational, and career development opportunities on Lake Pontchartrain for all in the population of the region regardless of age, background, and abilities, including, as a core mission, serving the low and moderate income and minority communities in metro New Orleans by providing access to a community asset that has been historically inaccessible to those large segments of the population.

Community Sailing New Orleans - Youth, Adult, & College Sailing Programs Sailing for All We are dedicated to making sailing accessible to everyone regardless of age race abilities or financial means. Youth Sailing Our afterschool programs introduce young people to new skills and careers in the maritime industry as well as reinforce STEM concepts through the sport of sailing. Adaptive Sailing We provide an inclusive and accessible environment where people of all abilities and their families are welcome. Building Community Construction of our new headquarters building is expected to be completed in late 2024 allowing us to expand our impact and reach.

Our Tolmas Veterans Program participants proudly represented Community Sailing New Orleans at the Defenders Memorial Day Challenge yesterday. This special regatta, honoring all who serve, brought together teams from every branch for a fun and friendly competition out on the water. Our CSNO Veterans Team, made up of members from multiple branches, sailed with heart and honor—and took home 3️⃣rd place overall.
