Center for the Working Poor NONVIOLENT ACTION SERVING THE POOR The Center for the Working Pooris an interfaith intentional community inspired by the Catholic Worker movement and New Monasticism which is committed to strategic nonviolent social change. Our specialty is helping to organize social movements and facilitating the use of strategic nonviolence throughout the world. We also provide mutualaid mental health services to people in need. We are a spiritual community rooted in Christian contemplative practices that is open to all faith traditions.
