The Collegium's mission is to enrich the cultural offerings of New York City by presenting highly-polished performances featuring America's best baroque instrumentalists & singers. The Collegium also seeks to enhance the field of early music by reviving unknown works & composers from the Baroque period and enlarging the public and professional understanding of the repertoire. The organization collaborates with musicologists and other scholars who can bring new works to light and provide cultural, historical and social context for the music of the Baroque period.
