Friends of PIR – Committed to the Sustainability of PIR

The Rose Cup Races is a 2-day auto racing event happening every year in Portland, OR since 1961. We’ll see you July 13-14, 2024! Friends of PIR is a 501(c3) nonprofit committed to the preservation and enhancement of Portland International Raceway (PIR) as a resource for those who use it, both participants and spectators alike. Preserving and enhancing PIR as an accessible recreational facility for those who use it as both participants and spectators. FOPIR will exhibit stewardship in sustaining and expanding PIR's civic contribution as a public recreational area in North Portland. We will provide guidance and support for the management of PIR in a manner that assures its ongoing value to the community as a venue for all forms of recreation and entertainment.

Who's ready for drag racing and Hot Summer Nights Cruise-In Wednesday June 4th? The Vancouver and Portland automotive community have been fortunate to have had Beaches Summertime Cruise-In for 29 years. As all things eventually come to an end, so did Beaches. Hot Summer Nights is launching June 4th, 2025 and will be carrying on the Beaches tradition at Portland International Raceway! Make an evening of it with live music, activities for kids, food carts, full bar, drag racing, and of course cool cars, trucks & bikes. The show opens for show participants at 3:00pm; general public at 4:00pm. Pricing this season is $5 per person in a Show Ride & $5 per Bike. General admission is $10 per person, with 12 & under free.
