The Pennsylvania Hunt Cup is a Timber steeplechase race with a distance of four miles and 22 fences, over fair hunting country. 2024 marks the 90th running of the 501(c)3 Pennsylvania Hunt Cup races on the Unionville course. Pennsylvania Hunt Cup - The 90th running on Sunday, November 3, 2024 THE TRADITION OF THE PENNSYLVANIA HUNT CUP PENNSYLVANIA HUNT CUP The Pennsylvania Hunt Cup is a Timber steeplechase race with a distance of four miles and 18 fences over fair hunting country. From its inception it has been intended as a substantial test of both horse and rider and is one of just three 4mile steeplechase races sanctioned by the National Steeplechase Association. ABOUT THE PA HUNT CUP Create your own traditions on the first Sunday in November at the historic Pennsylvania Hunt Cup race meet. 2024 Pennsylvania Hunt Cup CALLED OFF After serious consideration Michael and Anne Moran and the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup Committee have made the very difficult decision to call off the 90th Running of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup due to unsafe ground conditions.
