Who We Are Established in 1972 the LAPMF supports the LAPD Family. We endeavor to minimize the financial burden often placed on the dedicated members of the LAPD who experience catastrophic circumstances including the families of Officers killed in the line of duty. We are wholly committed to assisting those who protect the vibrant communities throughout the City of Los Angeles. Scholarships and Grants Payroll Deductions What We Do The Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation provides funding to spouses registered domestic partners and minor dependent children when Department employees sustain catastrophic injuries illness or death.
