Home - The Winter Club of Lake Forest About Frederick C. Aldrich is credited with first suggesting during the fall of 1900 the formation of a club for winter sports to be located somewhere near the center of the village. From inception The Winter Clubs programming has provided athletic and recreational activities for its member families. At the Winter Club it is our mission to provide recreational programs staff and facilities that encourage the gathering of families while maintaining a primary focus on the needs of children.
