HMS School educates, nurtures, and cares for children and young adults with cerebral palsy and other neurological impairments. Through therapies, individualized programs, and a compassionate community, we empower students to reach their fullest potential. HMS School educates, nurtures, and cares for children and young adults with complex physical disabilities resulting from cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury or other neurological impairments, with the goal of enabling each to reach their maximum potential. We promote independence and improve the quality of life for youth in a safe and secure environment so each can lead a fulfilling, stimulating life now and as an adult.

Flashback Friday to last month’s University City District Dollar Stroll. Our resident students were out in the community helping to sell HMS swag and share more about our school. We love being part of events that give us the chance to connect with our neighbors and spread the word about what we do.

July is Disability Pride Month, and HMS will be at the Philadelphia Union game in celebration of National Disability Independence Day. This game is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate our students and the abilities they bring to the world. At HMS, we focus on what our students can do, and being part of this night allows us to highlight their strengths in a space that values inclusion and community.
