April Showers, our kitten shower, is happening this Sunday, April 13th! Here’s what to bring! Our shelter kittens will really appreciate your gifts, so stop by our adoption center (1009 Garfield Street) between 12pm and 3pm on Sunday. While you’re here, you can meet kittens and participate in activities! The supplies we gather at this fun springtime event will help us care for so many homeless cats and kittens throughout this busy season. We hope to see you there! Happy Foster Friday! Here are some of our current animals who are looking for foster homes. More info on fostering here 👉 animalcareleague.org/foster 1) Jellybean - This bouncy 8-month-old puppy was scared and shy when she got to ACL, but after her first walk with us, she was all wiggles! Only 35 pounds and sweet as can be, Jellybean's name fits her very well, and she would like nothing more than a chance to stay with you! 2) Popcorn - Popcorn is a bundle of pure joy, and he really just wants some play time! For such an exuberant young pup, it's easy to get cooped up in the shelter, and Popcorn is starting to feel a little stressed. If you can give him a break from his kennel, he'll be incredibly grateful—and in return he promises to keep you smiling and laughing nonstop. 3) Chubbs - One of our long-term pups and a certified good boy, Chubbs has somehow not yet been in a foster home! With his laid-back and affectionate personality, we think he'd do very well as a houseguest—and he's already a celebrity in the shelter's Real Life Room, where he's been hanging out with the community! If you'll be Chubbs's friend, even just for a little while, he'd be so excited! 4) Kittens - We never know when we'll need short-notice kitten fosters during the springtime.
