Contracommon is an artist-run, artist-led nonprofit that focuses on supporting artists in a collaborative setting. The organization creates physical and digital platforms for artists to exhibit their work, produce events that connect individual artists to their community, and facilitate opportunities for professional development. Through a partnership with the Hill Country Galleria, Contracommon operates an experimental gallery space, provides affordable workspace to emerging artists and access to facilities to support artists’ professional practices.
