Alycia Burnside from the ATD Fourth World team in New Mexico attended high-level events including the Opening Ceremony of the United Nations Permanent Forum On Indigenous Issues in the UN General Assembly Hall and panels focused on Indigenous rights, access to justice for Indigenous women, and youth-led advocacy. She also had the opportunity to connect with fellow ATD Fourth World team members and Activists in New York, sharing experiences and strengthening bonds. On March 29, 2025, the New Mexico team conducted its second Merging of Knowledge session. During this session, various representations of topics related to education were explored. Participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with others in their peer groups as well as with members from different groups.
