PROJECT BIKE TECH
Like auto shop... for bikes. Project Bike Tech is a credited high school curriculum that introduces students to careers in the bicycle industry. Bicycle mechanic education for high school students to encourage healthy living and a sustainable world. www.projectbiketech.org Project Bike Tech (PBT) uses bicycle education as conduit to teach core academics, enhance lives, create career opportunities and inspire new generations to be passionate about bikes, as a sustainable source of transportation, a road to healthy living and a means for connecting with the outdoors. PBT helps high schools establish dedicated classrooms for their program and provides all the support needed for it to thrive, a curriculum, educator training, ongoing assistance and industry access to all the required bike equipment to ensure the best possible experience. Students gain valuable skills and knowledge through a very unique educational opportunity. It is the only program of its kind in the country and it is the on-ramp for young adults to develop a life-long engagement with bikes.
