We are excited to announce the Class of 2029 is turning out to be DeSales University’s largest incoming class yet! The Bulldogs are rolling in strong this fall with 532 first-year students, breaking last year’s record of 528. We are also excited to welcome 70 transfer students. This year’s standout programs include business, healthcare programs such as nursing and exercise science, and a boost in communication sciences 3+2 program. While many students are from from PA, NJ, and NY, this class stretches coast to coast with newcomers from California to Maine. The Class of 2025 weren’t the only ones honored at Saturday’s Commencement! We were proud to present Annmarie Houck, Assistant Professor and Chair of Mathematics and Computer Science, with this year’s Provost’s Award for Faculty Excellence in Teaching, a recognition of her outstanding dedication to student success and innovative teaching. This annual award highlights faculty who go above and beyond in scholarship, service, or teaching. Annmarie’s engaging classroom approach, mentorship, and leadership in curriculum development have made her an invaluable part of our university community.
