Vision: To provide a haven for the foster care community where needs are met, hearts are encouraged and God's love is shown in a practical way. Core Value: Blessed to be a blessing. The Twig's mission is to encourage and inspire foster families by meeting their needs in a practical way. We created a trendy boutique where children in foster care may shop free of charge for clothing items and shoes once a month, each and every month they are in foster care. The boutique is not open to the general public, but only for children who are in the foster care system who have been placed in licensed foster homes or with relative/non-relative caregivers. The Twig is a place where over 350 children shop every month - from newborn babies to teenagers who have "aged out" of the foster care system. They shop with dignity and are encouraged to succeed in their lives as they choose items that boost their confidence and self-esteem.
