A Place of Refuge
We provide housing as semi-independent living for youth aging out of foster care. In the two years spent in our housing program, the young men learn live skills, tutoring, and college prep. They are taught how to live independently.

A Place Of Refuge A PLACE FOR REFUGE Transforming One Life At A Time In Detroit Metropolitan Area Southeastern Michigan A nonprofit organization committed to helping the youth of Southeastern Michigan transition from Foster Care to adult living. Building young leaders for a greater Detroit. We develop our young men through roles of responsibility where they are expected to make significant strides towards independent living. In addition these young individuals will learn to live with others in an appropriate manner as well as maintain house rules and everyday care for a home.
