The 6th Avenue Corridor, Inc. is an ambitious nonprofit organization whose mission is to coordinate the commercial revitalization of 6th Avenue through the historic River Bend and Cheatom Park neighborhoods. COMMERCIAL REVITALIZATION EFFORTS TO ABATE SLUM AND BLIGHTED CONDITIONS ALONG 6TH AVENUE CORRIDOR BY DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING STREETSCAPES, STREET BANNERS, PUBLIC EVENTS AND PUBLIC ART ALONG THE 6TH AVENUE CORRIDOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF DES MOINES, IOWA METRO CENTER URBAN RENEWAL PLAN.
