The Museum is an educational entity to honor the forgotten hero's and to give credit to hundreds of thousands of african american soldiers who gave their life to make America great. "They're actions were famous yet they never knew fame" Educational History Museum The Museum was established as a 501C3 non-profit in 2010 with the mission of educating preserving and presenting the history of outstanding contributions by these soldiers from 1866 to 1944. These soldiers fought and died in every war around the world to protect America's interests. The mission of the 9th and 10th Horse Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers Museum is to educate, preserve, and present the history and outstanding contributions of Americas’ Buffalo Soldiers from 1866—1944 and this includes WWII 1941—1945. The mission is achieved through educational programs, historic research, youth outreach programs and exhibits. The museum creates and disseminates knowledge about the history of the Buffalo Soldiers their service and contributions to America.
