WELCOME TO THE OCEAN AIR SUPPORT SQUADRON WEBSITE The Ocean Air Support Squadron is an all volunteer association ofpeople dedicated to aviationpublic safety and homeland security. The Squadrons primary missionis flyingaerial surveillance missions along the coastlineand inland way points of Ocean county NJ. The Ocean Air Support SquadronconductsSunset Patrolflights between May and September in support of the Ocean County Sheriffs Department Emergency Services Unitand the United States Coast Guard by monitoring major road and traffic conditions locating boaters in distress identifying and tracking pollution sources and assisting in search and rescue operations.
