Humboldt Park Health Humboldt Park Health (HPH), formerly Norwegian American Hospital, is a 127-year-old safety net hospital located in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, committed to providing high quality, affordable and compassionate health services by partnering with patients and their families, its employees and physicians. HPH believes that its role as the primary community health care provider is to treat and cure disease and to promote wellness through health education, prevention and early intervention. Services include inpatient acute care, emergency care, diagnostic services and primary care in a 200-bed hospital, as well as a full-service professional building, community clinics and Mobile Services including a Pediatric Care-A-Van and Pediatric Mobile Dental Program
