Elgin Sports Hall of Fame – All volunteer, non-profit foundation for recognitions of Elgin athletes
Guided by its mission to recognize Elgin’s athletes, coaches, and friends, to raise money for the student-athlete scholarship program and to formally recognize individuals and teams who have contributed to the success of Elgin’s sports history. Our mission is to recognize outstanding athletic achievements by athletes, coaches and friends of sports thru induction into the Elgin Sports Hall of Fame and to award monetary scholarships to student athletes.

Recognizing Elgins Outstanding Athletes Providing Scholarships to our Student Athletes Celebrating our Sports History The Hall INDUCTEES The Elgin Sports Hall of Fame has inducted 209 members since 1980. All of the Inductees are celebrated for their outstanding achievements and accomplishments. As the highest honor in Elgin athletics entrance into the Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding contributions to a variety of sports. CANDIDATES All candidates are nominated by the public and all have met the criteria to become a candidate on the ballot for induction into the ESHOF.
