The Animal Welfare Council of Alleghenies (AWC) is composed of individuals of diverse interest who intersect at their concern for the health and welfare of animals. The AWC is a clearinghouse of information and ideas, promotes communication and cooperation and actively facilitates solutions for needs within the animal advocacy community. The AWC uses education as the cornerstone of its efforts to promote responsible pet ownership, humane treatment and observance of the laws regarding animals. The education forum will include public events and a strong and enthusiastic network.
