NEW WORKS WRITER SERIES
Our mission is to produce and present in Northwest Ohio and the Toledo area new and existing art by, for and relevant to artists of African descent that will enrich and educate the public and influence culture and to continue and to preserve the African heritage and to celebrate the culture through various artistic disciplines such as theatre, dance and poetry in Northwest Ohio and the Toledo area. As the director of New Works, I also will provide an environment in which artist can share their creativity and audiences can celebrate the African heritage in an open forum that can promote an understanding and define the artistic and cultural heritage of Africans.
