South King Early Intervention Program

At South King Early Intervention Program (SKIP), we help children ages birth to three achieve their full potential, but equally important, we help parents and caregivers develop the confidence and competence they need to support their child. We treat children with a wide variety of disabling conditions including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down Syndrome, blindness, deafness, autism, and a variety of other diagnoses and developmental delays. We build a team around each child with their parents, grandparents, siblings and other care providers to create a therapy plan unique to their child.Our service delivery model is based on this truth: Children are always learning, and they are always practicing what they learn. It is for this reason that our services are provided in the child’s natural environment, including their home, daycare and other community settings. Our purpose is to help them be successful in their home and in their community.
