Our mission is to save lives and improve health outcomes by enabling the government and private sector to strengthen and sustain quality health systems. CHAI's mission is to save lives and improve health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries by enabling the government and private sector to strengthen and sustain quality health systems. The Clinton Health Access Initiative is dedicated to improving access to healthcare for all individuals. Residents of developing countries often cannot afford and do not have access to systems that provide basic healthcare, including medicines for diseases that are preventable, treatable or curable. This is where CHAI intervenes – by partnering with governments and working with other NGOs to provide solutions to the biggest challenges impeding effective healthcare in developing countries. Using a business-oriented approach, CHAI endeavors to alter commodity markets to decrease the costs of care and treatment, as well as expand access to health services.
