
PROJECT GOAL INC
non-profit organization, member of Common Goal and FIFA Foundation recipient, using soccer to promote academic achievement, at no cost in middle school youth. Project G.O.A.L. (Greater Opportunities for Athletes to Learn) focuses on social and educational after-school activities for disadvantaged youth in Providence, Rhode Island through the power of sport, specifically soccer. Project GOAL's mission is to provide a 100% free coeducational program affording every student the opportunity for educational support while being a part of a sports team despite obstacles pertaining to financial constraints, cultural background, language barriers and a lack of transportation. Our aim is for our students to learn basic social etiquette of responsibility, accountability, flexibility, and teamwork to work with others.
