Beneath Pluto’s Fun Exterior Is a Broken Heart — Help Give Him the Life He Deserves💔💔 Pluto is a playful, scruffy little guy — just 2–3 years old and 12 pounds of personality. After being found running loose repeatedly, he was finally surrendered. What we didn’t expect was how broken his tiny body was, despite his happy spirit. Pluto’s Body Is Young. His Heart Is Not. Help Us Give Him Time. Pluto has Stage B2 heart disease, a serious condition usually seen in older dogs. His young heart is already struggling. He will need lifelong medication and routine cardiac ultrasounds to manage his condition. On top of that, Pluto is blind in one eye, likely due to an old injury, and the eye had to be removed for his comfort and health. After stabilizing his heart with medication, Pluto underwent surgery to remove his damaged eye and was neutered. These procedures were essential to give him the best possible quality of life — no matter how long that life may be. Pluto has the heart of an old soul, the bounce of a puppy, and a deep love for people. He deserves every chance at comfort, joy, and a home to call his own. Forever homes are needed for Lacey, Missy, and Luke — three 8-month-old Golden Doodle/Havanese mix puppies surrendered after a chance meeting at a local rabies clinic. This is what happens when community and compassion come together. See the change youcan make in their lives simply by sharing their story. 🐶 🐶 🐶 Lacey, Missy, and Luke are under 20lbs and likely won’t get much bigger — matted, scared, but so deserving. They’re currently at the vet receiving much-needed care. We’re also spaying and neutering their parents to help break the cycle of unwanted litters in our local community. We’re looking for patient, loving adopters or fosters! Missy is the big personality of the bunch — sweet, friendly, and ready to be your best friend! Lacey and Luke are a bit shy and undersocialized. But beneath the uncertainty are gentle hearts ready to blossom in the right home. A confident dog in the home could help them feel safe.
