HacDC is a hackerspace in downtown Washington, D.C. HacDC is a community of hackers, tinkerers, engineers, developers, artists and philosophers committed to the free sharing of information, knowledge and skills. HacDC provides a physical space for technical, artistic and social collaboration by maintaining a classroom, meeting space and workshop well-equipped for information technology, electronics, woodworking and metal machining projects and education. HacDC hosted over 100 free public workshops in 2015 on topics including microcontroller programming, 3D printing, amateur radio, computer security, email encryption, lockpicking, web scraping, CNC machning, soldering and more.
