Events, Activities and Programming connected to the Friends of Clermont, a private non-profit supporting Clermont State Historic Site. The mission of The Friends of Clermont, a private, educational not-for-profit corporation, is to advocate for and support the conservation, preservation, development and improvement of Clermont State Historic Site; to support and administer educational programs, services and activities which may extend beyond the normal scope of State support; to encourage and support scholarly research; to raise funds and acquire objects, equipment and supplies solely for the purpose of supporting the programs and activities of the Friends of Clermont and the mission of the site; and otherwise to promote, conserve, preserve, develop and interpret Clermont State Historic site for the benefit of the public for this and future generations.
